Adelante Media Group Names Ed Krampf COO

ADELANTE MEDIA GROUP has hired veteran radio group head and market manager ED KRAMPF to be its new COO. KRAMPF has held SVP/Corporate Management posts with CLEAR CHANNEL and THE PARK LANE GROUP as well as stints as a Market Manager in LOS ANGELES, SAN FRANCISCO, TAMPA and ORLANDO.

"When ED became available it presented a huge opportunity for us to move forward as a company, and since ADELANTE is Spanish for 'moving forward,' we jumped all over it," ADELANTE CEO JAY MEYERS stated. In addition to his COO duties, KRAMPF will also handle Market Manager responsibilities for the company’s SACRAMENTO operation consisting of two radio and one television stations. The cluster co-locates with the corporate office. Previous SACRAMENTO GM JERRY DEL CORE has left the company for a non-corporate position in another industry.
