Taylor Swift To Take Over Dial Global And Be All Over TV

DIAL GLOBAL’S HOT COUNTRY format has invited BIG MACHINE star TAYLOR SWIFT to take over and host her own show on MONDAY, OCTOBER 25th from 8p-9p (ET). TAYLOR will play DJ for one hour and debut songs from her new album “Speak Now,” which goes on sale that day. TAYLOR will play her new songs, some recent hits and she’ll share stories about making the album.

JOHN PAUL, DIAL GLOBAL’s Sr. Dir/Country Programming & HOT COUNTRY PD said: “Our night jock, CONMAN, is going to step aside and turn the show over to TAYLOR. She will go on the air on over 100 of our format affiliates, live, to play and do whatever she wants. This way, we’re giving our stations and their listeners exclusive content they can’t get anywhere else.”

In other TAYLOR news, on THANKSGIVING NIGHT (11/25), NBC-TV will air the one-hour primetime special “TAYLOR SWIFT – Speak Now.” The program will follow TAYLOR on her journey from NEW YORK CITY to LOS ANGELES through interviews, events and concerts. TAYLOR’s official album release party will again be hosted by ELLEN DEGENERES, who will devote her entire one-hour show to the festivities on NOVEMBER 1st. 

TAYLOR will also make appearances on NBC-TV’s THE TODAY SHOW and THE LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN on CBS-TV on OCTOBER 26th, LIVE! WITH REGIS AND KELLY on ABC-TV on OCTOBER 27th and DANCING WITH THE STARS on ABC-TV on NOVEMBER 2nd.
