The FCC has proposed a $10,000 fine against MULTICULTURAL RADIO BROADCASTING LICENSEE, LLC, former licensee of WNYG-A/BABYLON, LONG ISLAND, NY, for failure to make available its public file during regular business hours and failure to maintain issues/programs lists in the public file.
Agents inspected the station's WEST BABYLON studio and were told that the public file had been moved to MANHATTAN to the company's corporate office to be inspected for a pending lawsuit. The files were returned to the station about 90 minutes later, and were missing the issues/programs lists. The station has since been sold to RADIO CANTICO NUEVO, INC.
