Katz's Kurka Was Featured Judge

KATZ MEDIA GROUP SVP/Director of Human Resources BARBARA KURKA was a featured judge at NEW YORK ENTERPRISE REPORT’s 2010 Small Business Awards. The annual awards honor the achievements of nine small businesses from the more than 500,000 throughout the NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY and Connecticut areas.

The winning small businesses, as defined as those with fewer than 200 employees, were selected for their best practices in customer service, green business, human resources and leadership, sales and marketing, and technology.

"It is my pleasure to participate once again with the NEW YORK ENTERPRISE REPORT’s Small Business Awards," said KURKA. "It’s very encouraging to see so many vibrant and growing small businesses invest in their communities. And I’m happy to offer my experience to help recognize these worthy and outstanding organizations."
