Pandora Comes To Barnes And Noble's NOOKcolor

PANDORA, the customizable Internet-based streaming radio service, has popped up on another device, this time being included on BARNES AND NOBLE's latest version of its NOOK e-reader. PANDORA will be available on the new NOOKcolor model, announced yesterday; the new model, available in Wi-Fi version but not 3G, offers full color book content and allows the addition of rich media content to books, and also includes a full web browser, games, and QUICKOFFICE to allow users to view MICROSOFT OFFICE files.
PANDORA VP, Business Development JESSICA STEEL said, "With PANDORA on NOOKcolor, millions of book lovers can now to listen to their personalized radio stations on the same device from which they're reading. NOOKcolor users can simply open PANDORA, enter the name of a favorite artist or song and immediately start listening to a station created just for them, based on the initial song and their feedback to subsequent songs. It's a never-ending experience of music discovery tailored to the taste of each individual."
NOOKcolor will retail for $249 and will be available starting NOVEMBER 19th.
