ABC-TV Plans Month Of Country Programming Around CMA Awards

Brad Paisley Headed To ABC

In NOVEMBER, many of Country’s artists are appearing on the ABC-TV, which will air the CMA AWARDS on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 10th at 8a (ET), live from the BRIDGESTONE ARENA in NASHVILLE, TN.

From OCTOBER 30th-NOVEMBER 10th ABC affiliates will air "ROAD TO THE CMA AWARDS,” a half hour special providing a sneak peek at the CMA AWARDS. Featuring artist interviews and highlights from past CMA AWARDS, it includes appearances by TRACE ADKINS, DANNY GOKEY, MIRANDA LAMBERT, MARTINA MCBRIDE, BRAD PAISLEY, REBA, DARIUS RUCKER, JOSH TURNER, CARRIE UNDERWOOD and KEITH URBAN. On TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd “DANCING WITH THE STARS,” which airs at 8p (ET) will feature a performance by TAYLOR SWIFT.

On WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd, "IN THE SPOTLIGHT WITH ROBIN ROBERTS: ALL ACCESS NASHVILLE” airs at 10p (ET). ROBIN will talk with artists like BRAD PAISLEY, LEANN RIMES and CARRIE UNDERWOOD and will visit KELLIE PICKLER’s new NASHVILLE home for the special.

On THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 4th, "GOOD MORNING AMERICA," which airs at 7a (ET), will feature a performance by BRAD PAISLEY. REBA will visit the show on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 9th. REBA will also be featured on “BETTER WITH YOU” on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 17th at 8:30p (ET), where she will reunite with her daughter from the REBA show, JOANNA GARCIA and guest star as a wedding planner.

Following the CMA AWARDS on WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 10th, BLAKE SHELTON will appear on “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE,” which airs at 12:05a (ET). JASON ALDEAN will perform for “KIMMEL” on MONDAY, NOVEMER 15th.

On SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14th, "EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION," which airs at 8p (ET) will feature CARRIE UNDERWOOD, KEITH URBAN and LeANN RIMES. The show will take place in NASHVILLE to benefit the SWEATT family, which were affected by the flooding in MAY. LYLE LOVETT will guest star on “CASTLE” on MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15th at 10p (ET).

On MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29th "CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS," will air at 9:30p (ET), featuring SUGARLAND's JENNIFER NETTLES as the host for the CHRISTMAS special. Joined by some of their family members, PAISLEY, DARIUS RUCKER, RIMES, LITTLE BIG TOWN, MARTINA MCBRIDE, RASCAL FLATTS, REBA, SHERYL CROW and SUGARLAND will share with fans their holiday traditions and memories. "CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS" will tape in front of a live audience on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11th at the BRIDGESTONE ARENA in NASHVILLE, TN.
