The ACM (ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC) is announcing its new board of directors. This year, there are 13 qualifying professional categories that are elected by the Academy’s membership. In addition to those elected, director-at-large positions have been appointed by Chairman BILL MAYNE, President SARAH TRAHERN and Vice President BUTCH WAUGH. Directors are elected from each category based on the number of members in that category. Each director serves staggered two-year terms, with half the board membership changing each year.
“We have 13 new members, bringing a fresh, new perspective and joining a solid group of dedicated professionals on the Board—all focused on the continuity of our strategic plans and keeping the ACADEMY focused on evolution,” said MAYNE. “We’re blessed to have the commitment of so many talented folks working hard to deliver the mission of the Academy, now and for the future.”
