Keeps Sox On
CBS RADIO Sports WSCR-A (670 THE SCORE)/CHICAGO will ink a new five-year deal to continue as the flagship radio station for CHICAGO WHITE SOX baseball, reports the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES' LEWIS LAZARE. The deal includes a SOX-branded HD-3 channel on the frequency of Adult Hits WJMK (JACK-FM).
The SOX moved to WSCR five years ago from crosstown ESPN Sports WMVP-A (ESPN 1000). Broadcasters ED FARMER and DARRIN JACKSON and pre- and post-game host CHRIS RONGEY are expected to continue as well.
