Dozens of new artifacts have been added to the COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME & MUSEUM’s critically acclaimed exhibition “Family Tradition: The WILLIAMS Family Legacy, Presented by SUNTRUST.” The exhibit, which opened in MARCH 2008 and was originally scheduled to close on DECEMBER 31st, 2009, has been held over by popular demand through DECEMBER 31st, 2011.
Some of the new artifacts include notebooks filled with handwritten musings, lyrics and notes of HANK WILLIAMS, an electric guitar made of bone and alligator hide and a PULITZER PRIZE. Additionally, the museum has debuted “Family Tradition Encore,” an exclusive online version of the exhibition that features video, pictures, awards, documents and other content not on display in the museum’s galleries.
