Imus Apology OK With Kars-4-Kids

CITADEL MEDIA syndicated morning host DON IMUS has apologized to KARS-4-KIDS for making fun of the charity's familiar jingle.

On WEDNESDAY's edition of "IMUS IN THE MORNING," the host interjected "shut up" and "go to hell" during the spot, then said, "I should give you my BENTLEY, you morons." TMZ reports that the charity, which said it was flooded with e-mails and posted a clip on its website asking if IMUS was really donating his BENTLEY, was pleased with IMUS' apology on THURSDAY's show, and an IMUS rep told TMZ, "Very catchy tune, very silly controversy."
