Open Submissions For ACM Awards Will Be Accepted Starting Next Week

The ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) announced TODAY (11/8) that open submissions for the 46th Annual ACM AWARDS will begin next week for the radio awards categories. Submissions will be accepted starting MONDAY, NOVEMBER 15th and will end at noon (PT) on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 10th. The 46th Annual ACM AWARDS will air live on CBS-TV next spring, with the exact date to be announced soon.
The ACM AWARDS telecast recognizes winners for the previous calendar year, and the radio submission period is between JANUARY 1st, 2010 and DECEMBER 10th, 2010.
Only current ACM members may submit for Station or on-air personality category consideration. The application deadline for new memberships is FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19th and for renewal of existing memberships is MONDAY, NOVEMBER 29th. Nominees for the ACM radio awards categories will be announced in the spring of 2011. The categories are as follows:
On-Air Personality of the Year – National
On-Air Personality of the Year – Major (Markets 1-25)
On-Air Personality of the Year – Large (Markets 26-50)
On-Air Personality of the Year – Medium (Markets 51-100)
On-Air Personality of the Year – Small (Markets 101+)
Radio Station of the Year – Major (Markets 1-25)
Radio Station of the Year – Large (Markets 26-50)
Radio Station of the Year – Medium (Markets 51-100)
