CLEAR CHANNEL stations are partnering with the FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION, the charity that provides support and housing for the famlies of wounded soldiers, for a week of fundraising promotions leading up to VETERANS DAY.
In the week that started FRIDAY (11/5) and ends WEDNESDAY (11/10), CLEAR CHANNEL stations are running four promos per day about FISHER HOUSE, and on VETERANS DAY, the stations are airing a minimum of three mentions or vignettes per hour between 6a and 8p.
"We're thrilled to have the support of CLEAR CHANNEL's nationwide network of stations and their amazing top-tier talent supporting our military families," said DAVID COKER, President of FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION. "By making a donation to FISHER HOUSE, Americans can help our military families who have sacrificed for our nation's freedoms, and now heal and recuperate."
"We've seen first-hand the positive impact the FISHER HOUSE program has had on our military families, and it's a cause we feel strongly about," said CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO SVP/Programming CLAY HUNNICUTT. "They serve more than 11,000 families a year, and without the support of the FISHER HOUSE, thousands of our military families wouldn't be able to be close to their loved ones during their hospitalizations. CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO's celebrity talent and creative group of in house marketers have spent countless hours getting behind this campaign and coupled with our ongoing efforts for the USO, have shown how committed our organization is in helping support our country's heroes."
