Tom Land Is Bouncing Back

Great news from JOURNAL Dir./Radio Programming TOM LAND, who is making big progress on his battle with cancer that sidelined him this past SUMMER (NET NEWS 8/23).

LAND told ALL ACCESS, "Hey, I'm at my high school weight! Hell of a way to get there. Last AUGUST/SEPTEMBER, I think you remember I couldn't walk as the cancer had gone to the spine. Well, here I am walking, bending over without the help of a walker or others to get me around. I responded really well to radiation.

"I am on medical leave through the first of the year when I'll finish chemo. Trying to keep a few hours here and there. I get in the office every other week for a few hours, but primarily I'm doing a lot from home. Other than the usual side-effects of chemo, I'm responding well."

TOM, who was writing back to ALL ACCESS over this past weekend, continued, "I am so blessed to have so many praying for me, sending positive thoughts my way and just reaching out with kind words of encouragement and hope. My family is overwhelmed and often cannot find the words. Please know that you reaching out means a lot as well as many other friends in this business. I am the blessed one in all this and have really seen the GOOD in people. I wondered some times if any of that was left. ....it's alive and well; you just have to open your eyes."
