Talk KWDJ-A (FOX TALK 1360 AM)/RIDGECREST, CA has dropped PREMIERE's RUSH LIMBAUGH and added FOX NEWS RADIO's JOHN GIBSON.
The station is owned by JAMES L. KNUDSEN & DONNA L. KNUDSEN and operated by SUNSET MEDIA's ERIC KAUFFMAN, who told the RIDGECREST DAILY INDEPENDENT that the move was made because LIMBAUGH was promoting listening to the show on his website rather than on the air, which KAUFMANN said impacted his business. He also noted that the show was the only one on his stations that required payment of rights fees.
LIMBAUGH remains available in RIDGECREST via the distant signal of CLEAR CHANNEL Talk KFI-A/LOS ANGELES.
