To honor the memory of the late DAVE NIEHAUS, who passed away WEDNESDAY (NET NEWS 11/10), the SEATTLE MARINERS' flagship station, BONNEVILLE Sports KIRO-A (710 ESPN)/SEATTLE will replay NIEHAUS' call of Game 5 of the 1995 American League Division Series against the NEW YORK YANKEES on SUNDAY (11/13) at noon (PT).
The commercial-free replay, "MY OH MY -- A TRIBUTE TO DAVE NIEHAUS," will also include memories and comments from former players and broadcasters, including former MARINERS stars like KEN GRIFFEY JR., JAY BUHNER, and HAROLD REYNOLDS, and some of NIEHAUS' on-air partners like RON FAIRLY and RICK RIZZS.
"DAVE's play-by-play speaks for itself, and stands the test of time," said BONNEVILLE SEATTLE VP/Market Manager CARL GARDNER. "We can think of no greater tribute to the man than to re-broadcast his master work -- the greatest game of his exceptional career."
