CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KLAC-A (AM570)/LOS ANGELES raised over $120,000 during its third annual Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) commercial-free radiothon and online auction WEDNESDAY (11/10).
The seven-hour event during the "LOOSE CANNONS" (STEVE HARTMAN, PAT O'BRIEN and VIC "THE BRICK" JACOBS) and "PETROS AND MONEY" (PETROS PAPADAKIS and MATT "MONEY" SMITH) shows on the FOX SPORTS RADIO flagship included visits from several celebrities, including former LAKERS JAMES WORTHY and JAMAAL WILKES, acting couple LISA RINNA and HARRY HAMLIN, former DODGERS manager TOMMY LASORDA, and L.A. GALAXY soccer star LANDON DONOVAN.
In addition, the shows took calls from HEIDI KLUM, P90X spokesman TONY HORTON, BILLY BUSH, DON IMUS (who donated $10,000), JOE WALSH and NIKKI SIXX, the latter two of whom donated guitars autographed by the EAGLES and MOTLEY CRUE.
