WEAZ RADIO AC WBEB (B101-FM)/PHILADELPHIA will partner for the 2010 Stockings for Kids holiday toy drive. The program kicks off TODAY and continues through DECEMBER 22nd.
Stockings for Kids was developed by B101 in conjunction with THE SALVATION ARMY 14 years ago to collect and distribute toys to disadvantaged children in the GREATER PHILADELPHIA region.
"I’ve always believed that broadcasters have a responsibility to give back to the communities and listeners that support them,” B101 Owner JERRY LEE said. "The Stockings for Kids Program is a wonderful opportunity for our station to be involved and have a positive impact on thousands of families’ holidays every year. Whether it’s delivering toys or playing someone’s favorite holiday song, we look forward to spreading some holiday cheer this season.”
