CBS RADIO Triple A WXRT/CHICAGO is poised to unleash their 12th volume of unavailable live performances originally broadcast on the station.  This year’s selections span the past decade and feature artists such as ANDREW BIRD, DAVID BYRNE, ALEJANDRO ESCOVEDO, DAVE MATTHEWS, EDWARD SHARPE, VAMPIRE WEEKEND and others.

Beginning this weekend (11/19), the station will feature tracks from the collection leading up to its availability at local BORDERS locations on NOVEMBER 30th.  Proceeds from sales of the CD will benefit ROCK FOR KIDS and the GULF RESTORATION NETWORK. 

ROCK FOR KIDS provides music education to undeserved children in CHICAGO, sparking creativity and passion, teaching critical thinking, supporting academic achievement and enriching young lives.
