Pot Possession Case Dropped Against CBS Radio News' Howard Arenstein

The pot possession case against CBS RADIO NEWS correspondent HOWARD ARENSTEIN and his wife, journalist ORLY KATZ, has been dismissed after prosecutors told Judge KIMBERLEY S. KNOWLES that a government witness sheduled to testify had not shown up, according to the WASHINGTON POST. The dismissal was without prejudice, meaning that the case could be refiled.

ARENSTEIN and KATZ were arrested on OCTOBER 1st after police were tipped that the couple were growing marijuana plants in their GEORGETOWN backyard.
