The latest update on the condition of CLEVELAND CAVALIERS radio voice JOE TAIT is a report from the ASSOCIATED PRESS that TAIT has been released from the CLEVELAND CLINIC, where he had been admitted on NOVEMBER 1st with a blood clot in his lung. TAIT had been awaiting a double bypass and aortic valve replacement, which have been rescheduled for early JANUARY.
The 2010-11 season was to be TAIT's final campaign behind the mic for the CAVS, who are heard on CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WTAM-A/CLEVELAND. He has called CAVALIERS games since the team's 1970 inception except for two seasons, one with the NEW JERSEY NETS and the other with the CHICAGO BULLS.
