TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO's FACEBOOK campaign to help brides-to-be who lost their wedding gowns in a bridal shop fire last WEDNESDAY afternoon has resulted in over 160 dresses being offered by WGN listeners to the victims.
EVA'S BRIDALS of OAK LAWN, IL burned down WEDNESDAY, and during THURSDAY's morning show with GREG JARRETT, the idea arose to use the station's FACEBOOK page to help the women who lost their wedding dresses. The store's owner, RHONIA GHUSEIN, appeared with JARRETT on FRIDAY's show, which, coincidentally, aired live from across the street at PALERMO'S; GHUSEIN said, "The donations, the city, PALERMO'S, everybody has been incredible. We appreciate it so much... it warms my heart to know there are people like that out there."
