CBS RADIO Top 40 WDZH (98.7 AMP Radio) /DETROIT has started airing public service announcements urging the public to end the epidemic of bullying as well as to seek help if victimized by bullying. The PSAs are voiced by several 98.7 AMP RADIO artists, including JASON DERULO and TAIO CRUZ, and DETROIT LIONS players such as QB MATT STAFFORD, defensive tackle NDAMUKONG SUH and defensive end KYLE VANDEN BOSCH. 98.7 AMP RADIO’s on-air personalities have also taped PSAs.
Most notably, recognizing a lack of a comprehensive resource website for people facing bullying, 98.7 AMP RADIO has developed a web page with listings of other websites and phone numbers that kids and their parents can use to get help. 98.7 AMP Radio also wants to help launch a heroes program within schools that would encourage students to report bullying and to offer their support to students have been bullied.
