CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40/Rhythmic KPTT (95.7 THE PARTY)/DENVER inks KDGS (POWER 93.9)/WICHITA afternoon jock DAVE 'DEUCE' JACOBSON for programming and afternoon air personality duties. The move marks a return to DENVER for DEUCE. Prior to his three-plus-year stint at KDGS, DEUCE worked at KQKS (KS 1075)/DENVER.
In a press release, CLEAR CHANNEL DENVER OM JOE BEVILACQUA commented, "We wanted someone who knew DENVER’s rhythmic audience, could join our team and bring this PARTY to a new level."
DEUCE added, "I can't express the gratitude I feel for the time I've had with (KDGS PD) GREG WILLIAMS and the entire KDGS family ... and I am excited to return home to the city I love and help tackle this great new opportunity at 95.7 THE PARTY! I'm eager to begin working with JOE BEVILACQUA, even if he is a STEELER’s fan!"
DEUCE’s return to DENVER also reunites him with KYLD/SAN FRANCISCO PD, KPTT consultant and former KQKS/DENVER PD CAT COLLINS.
With DEUCE leaving for DENVER, KDGS PD GREG WILLIAMS has begun a wicked Holiday search for his next afternoon star. The heritage, market-leading Top 40/Rhythmic station is looking for that person who can maintain its #1 position in afternoon drive. WILLIAMS is looking for someone with strong phone skills, relates to a diverse audience and can do great imaging. Are you competitive and willing to do whatever it takes to win and be the best?
Three years of experience is required. This position may have Music Director possibilities for the right candidate. Please e-mail your package immediately complete with resume, aircheck and references to KDGS PD GREG WILLIAMS at gwilliams@entercom.com. No calls please.
