Malcolm Swatton Upped To Global Head Of Human Resources At Universal Music Group

UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP has promoted UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP INTERNATIONAL SVP of Human Resources MALCOLM SWATTON to Global Head of Human Resources. SWATTON, who joined UMG in 2002 as U.K. Human Resource Director, will split his time between UMG's SANTA MONICA headquarters and LONDON, and will report to President and COO ZACH HOROWITZ.
Co-CEO LUCIAN GRANGE said. "As we continue to grow our business, the human aspect is critical in all of our activities. Based on this, we've made the decision to expand our Human Resources area by making this a global function which will help to further strengthen our organizational capability. And MALCOLM is the ideal executive to lead it. Over the years, he has demonstrated true leadership and an ability to integrate human resources strategy with business plan objectives. His expertise in management and development will serve us well as we work to broaden the scope of our international organization and become even more competitive in the global marketplace."
