Receiver's Sale Of New Northwest Anchorage, Fairbanks, Astoria Clusters Filed With FCC

The price for the deal by which NEW NORTHWEST BROADCASTERS CEO TRILA BUMSTEAD is buying five stations in the ASTORIA, WA area and four stations in ANCHORAGE, AK from the company's receiver (REVITALIZATION PARTNERS) for her OHANA MEDIA GROUP is a total of $465,000 ($190,000 for the ASTORIA stations and $275,000 for the ANCHORAGE cluster), according to the paperwork filed with the FCC. The stations include Sports KKEE-A and Talk KAST-A/ASTORIA, OR; Classic Rock KCRX/SEASIDE, OR; Country KVAS (EAGLE 103.9)/ILWACO, WA; Hot AC KLMY (MY 99.7)/LONG BEACH, WA; and Modern AC KDBZ (102.1 THE BUZZ), Top 40/Rhythmic KFAT, Adult Hits KBBO (92.1 BOB FM), and Country-Rock KXLW (96.3 THE WOLF)/ANCHORAGE.
At the same time, REVITALIZATION PARTNERS is also selling NEW NORTHWEST's FAIRBANKS cluster to RUSS JONES and PETER DAVIDSON's ANCHOR RADIO OF FAIRBANKS, LLC for $1.625 million. The cluster includes Sports KCBF-A, Talk KFAR-A, Adult Hits KTDZ (TED FM 103.9), Top 40 KWLF (WOLF 98.1), and Rock KXLR (95.9 X-ROCK).
Meanwhile, in another deal filed with the FCC, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has purchased FM translator K269FC/RENO from EASTERN SIERRA BROADCASTING for $75,000.
And NATURE COAST BROADCASTING, INC., licensee of Talk WOGF (FRANK 104)/INGLIS, FL, has gone into receivership. Control is being transferred from SABATINO CAPELLI to receiver BURT SHERWOOD.
