Magic Broadcasting Sells KDAY/KDEY

MAGIC BROADCASTING is selling Rhythmic AC KDAY/REDONDO BEACH (LOS ANGELES) and KDEY/ONTARIO, CA to SOCAL 935 LLC, according to FCC documents, for $35 million -- with the money paid over time in promissory notes. The principals of SOCAL935 are JOHN HEARNE and WARREN CHANG. MICHAEL DURDEN is the principal of MAGIC BROADCASTING. MEDIA VENTURE PARTNERS, LLC represented MAGIC BROADCASTING, LLC in this transaction.

In other deals filed with the FCC, CUMULUS is formally selling FM translator W229AG/SANDY PLAINS, GA to DICKEY BROADCASTING for $597,000.  The translator rebroadcasts DICKEY's Sports WCNN-A (680 THE FAN)/ATLANTA.

RICHBURG EDUCATIONAL BROADCASTERS is selling the construction permit for noncommercial FM WFBK/FORT MILL, SC to SPIRIT BROADCASTING GROUP, INC. for $4,505.

LIFELINE MINISTRIES, INC. is selling WGTI/DUCK, NC (ELIZABETH CITY-NAGS HEAD) to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $800,000.  The station is upgrading from a Class A licensed to WINDSOR, NC to a Class C2 with a signal rimshotting the NORFOLK-VIRGINIA BEACH market.

EXTREME MEDIA GROUP, LLC is selling FM translator K289AM/TIMBERLANE, LA to CROCODILE BROADCASTING CORP., INC. for $80,000.  The translator will rebroadcast Spanish Tropical KGLA-A/GRETNA, LA-NEW ORLEANS.

NETWORK OF GLORY, INC. is selling the construction permit for noncommercial FM KYAH/MANHATTAN. KS to GREAT PLAINS CHRISTIAN RADIO, INC. for $74,000 and is also selling the construction permit for WGIA/DAMASCUS, GA to VICTOR BROADCASTING, INC. for $1.

COMMUNITY RADIO OF NORTH GEORGIA, INC. is selling the construction permit for WLTS/BARRETTSVILLE, GA to VICTOR BROADCASTING, INC. for $1.

METRO NORTH COMMUNICATIONS, INC. is selling the construction permit for WLWB/NEW HOLSTEIN, WI to WOODWARD COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $25,000.

THE MONTANA RADIO COMPANY, LLC is selling KUUS/VAUGHN, MT and KEAU/FAIRFIELD, MT to FISHER RADIO REGIONAL GROUP, INC. for, respectively, $48,000 and $65,000; FISHER will also sell KINX/GREAT FALLS, MT to THE MONTANA RADIO COMPANY for $48,000.

INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTING CORPORATION is selling WTIL-A/MAYAGUEZ, PR to LA MAS Z RADIO INC. for $500,000.

NORTHERN LIGHT NETWORK is selling KRSA-A/PETERSBURG, AK to SEA-CHRIST BROADCASTING CORPORATION for $1.

LSM RADIO PARTNERS, LLC is selling Spanish Tropical WWWK (LATINA 105.5 FM)/ISLAMORADA, FL to SMS 3 COMMUNICATIONS INC. for $1 million.

ELKO TELEVISION DISTRICT is assigning FM translator K266AB/ELKO, NV to RUBY RADIO CORP. for no consideration.

EXTREME GRACE MEDIA, INC. is selling FM translator K227BL/ANAMOSA, IA to SELLERS BROADCASTING, INC. for $25,000.

EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS OF COLORADO SPRINGS, INC. is selling the construction permits for new noncommercial FMs at JULESBURG, SEIBERT, and SPRINGFIELD, CO to ACADEMY MEDIA, INC. for $100.

VIC MICHAEL's MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY TRANSLATORS, LLC is selling FM translator K229BS/LAKEWOOD, CO to 4-K'S LLLP for $250,000.  The translator will rebroadcast Sports KCKK-A (MILE HIGH SPORTS RADIO)/LITTLETON-DENVER, CO.

NEW ULM CHRISTIAN RADIO is selling FM translator K285FX/NEW ULM, MN to MINN-IOWA CHRISTIAN BROADCASTING, INC. for $300.

And BRYAN KING is selling the construction permit for a new FM at UVALDE ESTATES, TX to JOSE ANTONIO AGUILAR ARELLANO for $60,000.
