The FCC has socked ZIMMER RADIO's JOPLIN, MO stations $8,000 for "apparently willfully and repeatedly" violating EEO rules by failing to comply with the recruitment, self-assessment, and public file requirements.
The COMMISSION has done the same to OPUS BROADCASTING/ORGEGON stations KROG/GRANT’S PASS, KCNA/CAVE JUNCTION, KRTA-A/MEDFORD; and KEZX-A/MEDFORD. Its EEO fine is $20,000.
