Fontanel Mansion Announces 'Music City On Stage!' Variety Show

The FONTANEL MANSION & FARM in WHITES CREEK, TN and MATT DAVENPORT PRODUCTIONS have announced "MUSIC CITY On Stage!,” which will take place in the new STUDIO GALLERY at FONTANEL beginning APRIL 5th.

Featuring up-and-coming singers, musicians and entertainers, “MUSIC CITY On Stage!” is a variety show with a wide range of TENNESSEE's musical styles - from MEMPHIS Blues, Gospel, Honky-Tonk, Bluegrass and chart-topping Country old and new. Each ticket purchase includes entry to the show and a home-style meal from the FARM HOUSE RESTAURANT AT FONTANEL. Also included in the ticket price is a voucher to return and tour FONTANEL MANSION.

The variety show will run every TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY and THURSDAY throughout the year. Doors will open at 6:30 p (CT) and the dinner will run from 7p to 8p (CT). The main musical event is from 8p to 9p (CT)

"’MUSIC CITY On Stage!’ is a type of entertainment that has been missing in NASHVILLE for quite some time," said FONTANEL co-owner MARC OSWALD. "The idea of a dinner and variety show not only fills a niche, but it provides an outlet to an amazing group of talented musicians and singers who call NASHVILLE home."

Auditions for ‘MUSIC CITY’ On Stage! are set for WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 26th beginning at 9a (CT) at the STUDIO GALLERY AT FONTANEL, THE FONTANEL is seeking singers that look between the ages of 18-35 to perform in the new entertainment production. Auditionees must be well-versed in traditional and contemporary Country music styles and be comfortable singing Gospel music. Please note that auditionees may be "typed out". Auditionees proficient on guitar, fiddle, mandolin and/or banjo are asked to bring their instrument and be prepared to play. All auditionees are asked to dress appropriately, provide a non-returnable head shot and resume and be prepared to sing one contemporary and one traditional Country song. In addition, some may be asked to sing other material and are asked to please provide sheet music or CD track in the appropriate key.
