Radio Team Set For Vancouver Whitecaps Soccer

CTV/CHUM RADIO Sports CFTE-A (TEAM 1410)/VANCOUVER has named its announcing team for VANCOUVER WHITECAPS soccer as the team launches its first MLS season in MARCH.

JIM PATTISON GRPOUP Triple A CKPK (100.5 THE PEAK)/VANCOUVER afternoon host and COLUMBIA ACADEMY instructor PETER SCHAAD will call the play-by-play for all 34 regular season matches, playoffs, and international "friendly" matches, with former Canadian national team goalkeeper PAUL DOLAN handling color commentary, JOEY KENWARD and TEAM 1040 morning "SCOTTY AND RAY" co-host SCOTT RINTOUL as match day hosts, and TEAM 1040 "FULL TIME: VANCOUVER's SOCCER SHOW" hosts TYLER GREEN and MIKE MARTIGNAGO as match day reporters.

"TEAM 1410's broadcast will be the most dedicated in MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER," said CHUM RADIO VANCOUVER VP/GM JAMES STUART. "These guys have all been around the game for ages and are all extremely qualified to deliver major league broadcasts."
