UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Triple A WXPN/PHILADELPHIA’s nationally syndicated show "WORLD CAFE" is reaching its 20-year milestone on the air this fall. To help celebrate, host DAVID DYE is asking listeners to vote for their favorite artists who have appeared on the show.
From a list of over 4,000 artists, they want to whittle it down to the 885 FAVORITE WORLD CAFE ARTISTS for playback during the stations FALL COUNTDOWN on WXPN.
Those who enter become eligible to win an iPod loaded with the collection of WORLD CAFE CDs, and a SPECIAL PRODUCERS OF THE WORLD CAFE MEMBERSHIP, which includes invitations to CAFE tapings.
DYE will celebrate the 20th anniversary throughout the month of OCTOBER. "WORLD CAFE" is distributed by NPR and is heard on over 200 stations. Check out the abridged list of artists here.
