Emmis Partners With MediaLeaders For Social Media Training

EMMIS COMMUNICATIONS CORP. has entered a partnership with MEDIALEADERS to enhance the use of social media to grow revenue and audience share in both its terrestrial and digital platforms.
"EMMIS' partnership with MEDIALEADERS allows us to arm our employees with a tactical plan that connects our brands to our listeners with effective messaging and provides insights on analytics that social media technology offers," EMMIS RADIO VP/Digital ANGIE MAY said. "We have more than 14 million listeners among EMMIS stations. MEDIALEADERS provides us the means to drive our listeners from social media engagement to the terrestrial and digital platforms that we can monetize."
The MEDIALEADERS team is a grassroots social media strike team that will help EMMIS connect with listeners and advertisers in a meaningful way. Many of the techniques are a hybrid of traditional marketing rules mixed with new technology.
