John Davison Upped To PD At WHWK

CITADEL COMMUNICATIONS Country WHWK (THE HAWK)/BINGHAMTON has promoted midday personality JOHN DAVISON to PD, replacing DON BRAKE, now APD/afternoon personality at CLEAR CHANNEL Country WFRE/FREDERICK, MD.

DAVISON has been with WHWK since 1986 and during that time, held down the PD position for 12 years.

Taking over DON BRAKE's former afternoon slot is RICH BIRDSALL, a WHWK parttime veteran since 2001. DAVISON told ALL ACCESS about RICH,"He has great energy and will be taking the show in a forward direction with lots of TWITTER and FACEBOOK.”
