WRNB To Move To 100.3, Displacing WPHI

RADIO ONE Urban AC WRNB/PHILADEPHIA will reportedly take over sister station Urban WPHI (100.3 THE BEAT) on SEPTEMBER 1st. PHILLY.COM reports RADIO ONE made that announcement this afternoon.

RADIO ONE hints at an upcoming "exciting" announcement as to what becomes of 107.9 but a spokesman did not immediately return a request for comment about whether THE BEAT would move to 107.9.

The move will give WRNB an expanded coverage area.
