KFRC-A/San Francisco Now 'Radio Zindagi'

New Format

CBS RADIO Oldies KFRC-A (THE TRUE OLDIES CHANNEL)/SAN FRANCISCO has flipped to a brokered Asian format as "RADIO ZINDAGI" with new calls KZDG, effective TODAY (9/1). 

The weekday lineup includes "SU-PRABHA," a devotional hour 6-7a (PT), followed by "HORRORSCOPE," an astrology parody, 7-8a; "CHAITI KA NAAM GAADI," a morning show, 8-11a; "THODA PERSONAL" with cooking and fashion talk 11a-1p; interview show "GUFT-GOON" 1-3p; "CRACK PORT SHOW" 3-4p; the "ROUTE 1550" afternoon show 4-7p; an hour of Hindi songs 7-8; "DIL APNA PUNJABI" 8-9p; BOLLYWOOD gossip on "FUL2 FILMY"  9-10p; and "ROCKING RETRO" 10p-midnight.  Programming is repeated overnight.

The storied KFRC calls live on as the FM half of the News KCBS simulcast.
