CBS RADIO has flipped Classic Rock WYSP/PHILADELPHIA to the previously-announced simulcast of Sports WIP-A early, making the change at 3p (ET) TODAY (9/2).
The change came touted as a "big announcement" by HOWARD ESKIN, who hosted his final afternoon show this afternoon before moving to EAGLES pre- and post-game and fill-in highlights. The simulcast launched with a pre-recorded announcement ending "the journey begins... now."
Before the flip, HOWARD STERN called in to WYSP and chatted about his history on the station with WYSP jock SPIKE ESKIN (HOWARD ESKIN's son). Hear the interview by clicking here.
