MORAINE MUSIC/NASHVILLE and producer BRENT MAHER held their first annual COWBOY GOLF TOURNAMENT this past LABOR DAY WEEKEND in NASHVILLE. MORAINE donated $5,000 to the SPECIAL OPERATIONS WARRIOR FOUNDATION, from the sale of Country artist KENI THOMAS” album "Flags of our Fathers; A Soldier's Story." THOMAS is a national spokesman for the SPECIAL OPERATIONS WARRIOR FOUNDATION.
"There's such a great need to support the children of those who sacrifice so much,” said BRENT MAHER. "This album is an evergreen project that will continue to raise funds for the Hero Fund going forward, as will our yearly golf tournament that we hope will grow by leaps and bounds."
The organizations funded provide college educations for children of our military personnel killed in combat or training. To date, 700 children have been recipients of these funds. For more info visit www.KeniThomas.com.
