'America's Morning News' Reaches 135-Affiliate Mark

With its latest affiliation deals, "AMERICA'S MORNING NEWS," the morning news show produced by TALK RADIO NETWORK ENTERTAINMENT and THE WASHINGTON TIMES,has reached the 135-affiliate mark, including 45 new affiliates since the beginning of this year. The show, co-anchored by JOHN MCCASLIN and DANA MILLS, is now heard on affiliates in 23 of the top 50 metro markets.
TRN-E CEO MARK MASTERS said that the show "is the direct result of a close relationship with TALK RADIO NETWORK ENTERTAINMENT, THE WASHINGTON TIMES and all of our valued syndication partners. Working together, we’ve developed the next generation news radio programming that is rapidly gaining national audience share with over 135 affiliates secured to date."

In other TRN news, the syndicator's LAURA INGRAHAM Show was former Vice President DICK CHENEY's latest stop on his promotional tour for his controversial new autobiography, "In My Time: A Personal and Political Memoir." CHENEY, who has appeared on several shows in recent weeks, including THE WALL ST. JOURNAL RADIO NETWORK's "THE DAILY WRAP WITH MICHAEL CASTNER" and SCOTT HENNEN's syndicated show, dropped by INGRAHAM's show FRIDAY (9/2) to talk about the book and his comments on COLIN POWELL and CONDOLEEZZA RICE that have drawn criticism from his former fellow BUSH administration figures.
