RENDA BROADCASTING Business WMNY-A/PITTSBURGH will flip to Talk using programming from TALK RADIO NETWORK, reports the MCKEESPORT DAILY NEWS as relayed by PBRTV.COM.
The report says that the flip to "AM NEWS TALK 1360," coming as soon as TODAY, will include TRN's AMERICA'S RADIO NEWS NETWORK, RUSTY HUMPHRIES, and PHIL HEMDRIE, plus UNITED STATIONS RADIO NETWORKS' LOU DOBBS, the first hour of crosstown ABC affiliate WTAE-TV's early morning show (5-6a (ET)), and a holdover from the Business format, "THE AMERICAN ENTREPRENEUR," in the 3-6p slot.
The station is also temporarily operating with 250 watts nondirectional from its daytime transmitter while its nighttime transmitter, which RENDA VP ALAN SERENA told the paper "blew up," is replaced.
