WMZQ Taps Newman As APD/Evening Personality

CLEAR CHANNEL Country WMZQ/WASHINGTON, D.C. has hired DENNIS “NEWMAN” HUGHES as APD/evening personality. The announcement was made by WMZQ OM/PD MEG STEVENS.

“NEWMAN knows NASHVILLE,” said STEVENS. “His experience, skills and enthusiasm make him the right choice to join the WMZQ family.”

NEWMAN, who has previously worked at CLEAR CHANNEL Country WSIX/NASHVILLE said, “I couldn’t be more excited to join the incredible team at WMZQ. As a VIRGINIA native, it will be a dream come true when I get to say ‘98.7 WMZQ’ for the first time on air,” said NEWMAN.
