ALL ACCESS has confirmed that CBS RADIO Country stations will not be participating in the radio remotes in NASHVILLE that are produced by PREMIERE RADIO NETWORKS. According to a reliable source, PREMIERE was contacted by CBS about the move.
Apparently the decision was sparked when the CMA AWARDS re-upped to stay with their current TV home, ABC-TELEVISION. CBS-TV carried the awards show for many years before they moved to ABC in 2005.
CBS Country stations include WYCD/DETROIT, KILT/HOUSTON, KMPS/SEATTLE, WUSN/CHICAGO, WSOC/CHARLOTTE and others.
