Clear Channel Names Mark Medina PD For Hot 99.5/D.C.

CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WIHT (HOT 99.5)/WASHINGTON, D.C. has tapped MARK MEDINA as PD, effective OCTOBER 17th.
"MARK's history of success, leadership skills and passion make him the right choice to lead WASHINGTON, D.C.'s top-rated station, HOT 99.5," said OM MEG STEVENS. "We're thrilled to have him join the team."
MEDINA is a CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO veteran and most recently served the PHOENIX market for nine-and-a-half years as PD at Top 40/Rhythmic KZZP. He also spent three years programming at Country KNIX. Prior to his roles in PHOENIX, MEDINA spent time as a PD, MD and on-air talent in TUCSON, STOCKTON and MODESTO.

Back at KNIX, no replacement has been announced yet, but APD KEVIN MANNION is handling programming in the interim.
