The HOUSTON TEXANS have inked a new multi-year renewal with CBS RADIO Sports KILT-A (SPORTSRADIO 610) and Country KILT-F/HOUSTON for the stations to remain the NFL team's flagship through the next decade. MARC VANDERMEER and ANDRE WARE will continue to call the action, and SPORTSRADIO 610 will continue to offer three-hour pre- and post-game shows. In addition, beginning next year, the station will air a 60-minute condensed version of each SUNDAY game on TUESDAYS 8-9p (CT) and a "TEXANS FRIDAY LUNCH" show weekly throughout the season.
"We are proud to continue this outstanding partnership with CBS RADIO's SPORTSRADIO 610 and 100.3 KILT-FM," said TEXANS President JAMEY ROOTES. "TEXANS fans throughout HOUSTON and Southeast TEXAS know that SPORTSRADIO 610 is the 'Home of the HOUSTON TEXANS.' They have tuned in every SUNDAY for the past 10 years to hear MARC VANDERMEER and ANDRE WARE call the games, and we're excited to announce that they can set their radio dials for many more years to come."
"We're thrilled to extend what has been a successful HOUSTON TEXANS broadcast partnership," said CBS RADIO HOUSTON SVP/Market Manager BRIAN PURDY. "Owner BOB MCNAIR and President JAMEY ROOTES have made the entire TEXAN organization one of the finest in all of professional sports and it only makes sense for Houstonians to continue hearing them on the city's No.1 Sports Radio station, SPORTSRADIO 610, along with 100.3 KILT-FM."
