BBR (BROKEN BOW RECORDS)/NASHVILLE has announced the promotion of CLAY HENDERSON to the position of Director of Syndicated Programming, for both BBR and sister label STONEY CREEK.
HENDERSON was most recently in the position of Southeast Regional Promotion Director for BBR. He has also worked in the past at WARNER BROS., UNIVERSAL SOUTH, and ARISTO MEDIA/MARCO PROMOTIONS.
"As BBR/SCR continues its growth and looks forward to a busy and exciting 2012, adding someone to focus on Syndicated Radio and also assist LYNETTE GARBONOLA in our New Media Department was an important next-step,” said Sr. VP of BBR/STONEY CREEK RECORDS JON LOBA. “CLAY’S skill-set and work ethic fit perfectly with what we envision this position ultimately encompassing."
“I’m excited to take on this new position to help super-serve our Syndicated Radio partners and also learn from one of the best New Media professionals in this business, LYNETTE GARBONOLA,” said HENDERSON.
Additionally, named to the Southeast region for BBR, is SCOTTY O’BRIEN, who was formerly in radio at CUMULUS/NASHVILLE and has also worked in ATLANTA radio.
“We are all incredibly excited about SCOTTY joining the BBR family,” said BBR/SCR Sr. VP of Promotion CARSON JAMES. “Scotty’s enthusiasm, invaluable radio experience and his love of music make him the perfect fit for our team as we move into the next chapter of BBR.”
O’BRIEN starts at BBR immediately and will officially take over BBR Southeast promotion duties on JANUARY, 2nd, 2012. He can currently be reached at Scotty@brokenbowrecords.com.
