Condolences to family and friends of OTTAWA SUN columnist and former radio sportscaster EARL MCRAE, who died SATURDAY (10/15) in OTTAWA of a heart attack at 69.
MCRAE, a SUN staffer for the last 20 years who wrote a general interest column for the SUN for the past 13 years and previously wrote for the OTTAWA CITIZEN, TORONTO STAR, PETERBOROUGH EXAMINER, CORNWALL STANDARD-FREEHOLDER, and THE CANADIAN, served as Sports Director at CILQ (Q107)/TORONTO and guest-hosted at CFRA-A/OTTAWA. He also anchored sports at CBC O&O CBLT (TV)/TORONTO and appeared on the CBC series "AFTERNOON DELIGHT" in 1979-83.
