KELLY CLARKSON rocked HOLLYWOOD'S historic TROUBADOUR CLUB last night in a special performance for fans and we lucky industry folk. The occasion? The release of her latest RCA release, Stronger -- available TUESDAY (10/24).
KELLY opened with "Darkside" and also sang several of her greatest hits, including "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" off the new album, "Walk Away" and "Sober," a song chosen by her fan club members at the event on SONY interactive televisions at the event for her to perform. Other tracks performed from the new album included "You Love Me" and her current release, "Mr. Know It All."
Our sincere thanks for a wonderful evening go to the RCA staff including VP Adult Formats WENDY GOODMAN, National Dir. Rhythm/Crossover Promotion-West Coast BEATA CZECHOWSKI, Sr. Director Publicity TOM MUZQUIZ, Sr. VP TV & Film Development KEVIN BEISLER, VP Strategic Marketing CLAUDIA BUTZKY, and Promotion Asst. MO HIROMOTO.
Seen upstairs, enjoying a birds-eye view of the show were Country superstars REBA MCENTIRE and BLAKE SHELTON. Also in the crowd, but not nearly as famous were KBIG (104.3 MYfm)'s JASON GRIFFIN, DYLAN RIGGS, DIAL GLOBAL's JASON BOWERS, RADIO INFORMER's BEN BROOKS and STAN K, STEVE ZAP of Z-ENTERTAINMENT, SCOTT EMERSON, ALL ACCESS' ED BROWN, PETE JONES, ERIN CALHOUN and MARK STRICKLAND.
