Everyone's talking about social media, but who is radio's leading expert when connecting listeners to radio brands? JACOBS MEDIA wants to know, and the winner of "Radio's Interactive Superstar" will make a guest appearance at SUMMIT 16, the company’s annual conference in BALTIMORE on DECEMBER 7th.
Anyone who works in radio is eligible to enter. The winner will demonstrate their ability to integrate digital and social media with radio, based on increasing metrics, mindshare, and/or money.
"We know there are some incredibly talented people in radio doing amazing things," notes JACOBS MEDIA Digital and Social Media Strategist LORI LEWIS. "This is a great opportunity to showcase radio's social media experts who can set an example for the entire industry."
Entrants should go to www.jacobsmedia.com/summit/interactivesuperstar.asp and describe how they've turned communication with their audience into a dynamic, interactive conversation that has improved their station’s brand -- in 140 words or less. They can include up to two screen shots or pictures that support their abilities. The deadline for entries is WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd.
JACOBS MEDIA will narrow down the entries to three finalists, and then the radio industry will pick the winner on the company’s FACEBOOK page and blog. The winner will share their efforts at the JACOBS SUMMIT on DECEMBER 7th, and will guest post on the company’s JacoBLOG.
