17th Annual ICM Award Winners Announced

The 17th annual INSPIRATIONAL COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS were held TONIGHT (10/28) in NASHVILLE, at the SCHERMERHORN SYMPHONY CENTER where multiple Country artists received awards. The show was hosted by GAC-TV’s STORME WARREN and MEGAN ALEXANDER.
RICKY SKAGGS won “Entertainer of the Year” while VANGUARD/SUGAR HILL duo JOEY & RORY won the “Vocal Group of the Year” award. The VALORY MUSIC CO./NASHVILLE artist JUSTIN MOORE won the award for “Mainstream Inspirational Country Song” for his hit, “If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away,” and JEFF BATES took home “Mainstream Country Artist”.
Other big winners include CHUCK DAY, who received “Male Vocalist of the Year” and KALI ROSE, who took home “Female Vocalist of the Year.” CAPITOL NASHVILLE trio LADY ANTEBELLUM won “Video of the Year” for their song “Hello World.”
R-S BROADCASTING COMPANY Southern Gospel WCWV (92.9 THE SPIRIT)/SUMMERSVILLE, WV received the honor as the “2011 Radio Station of the Year” while WCWV personality JR PITSENBARGER took home “Radio Personality of the Year.”
