Two stations have jumped on the all-CHRISTMAS music bandwagon in ST. LOUIS, as both CBS RADIO AC KEZK (FRESH 102.5 FM)/ST. LOUIS and CLEAR CHANNEL Classic Hits have hung up the musical mistletoe. What's more, KLOU has launched a new morning show team KLOU PD STEVE STEWART and ST. LOUIS radio veteran SHERRY FARMER. Longtime ST. LOUIS radio personality GREG HEWITT will transition to the workday shift from 10a-3p.
CBS RADIO SVP/Market Manager JOHN SHEEHAN said, "as the official CHRISTMAS music station, KEZK (FRESH 102.5) is proud to once again provide the soundtrack for so many great ST. LOUIS family holiday traditions."
"I’m excited to be a part of such an exciting time at The CHRISTMAS Station OLDIES 103.3," said KLOU PD new morning co-host STEWART. "I can’t wait to meet everyone in this proud city. Playing CHRISTMAS music is a great way for OLDIES 103.3 and me to reach out in friendship to everyone."
"STEVE and SHERRY are superb talent and I’m confident that ST. LOUIS will love them," CLEAR CHANNEL/ST. LOUIS OM JEFF MCHUGH said. "We hope that ST. LOUIS enjoys the Holiday Music now through CHRISTMAS DAY and will stick around for the biggest hits of the 60s and '70s on Oldies 103.3 in 2012!"
"We’re very excited about this new direction for KLOU," said CLEAR CHANNEL RADIO/ST. LOUIS Pres./Market Manager BETH DAVIS. "We’re giving ST. LOUIS listeners and advertisers what they are asking for."
