CLEAR CHANNEL's ALOHA STATION TRUST sells another of the company's spinoffs, with Sports WKRD-F/SHELBYVILLE, KY-LOUISVILLE going to KRISTIN CANTRELL's SOUTHERN BELLE, LLC for $175,000. The station presently simulcasts Sports WKRD-A (SPORTS RADIO 790)/LOUISVILLE.
In other filings with the FCC, WP BROADCASTING OF COLORADO, LLC is selling Oldies KRBR/ESTES PARK, CO to VIC MICHAEL's KONA COAST RADIO, LLC for $90,000.
LAWRENCE J. WARFIELD, Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee for THE TURNING LEAF, LLC, is selling silent KZXL/HUDSON, TX to AMY YATES' PENTAGON COMMUNICATIONS, LLC for $35,000.
And EVANGELICAL BROADCASTING GROUP, INC. is selling the construction permit for a new noncommercial FM at RIDGEVILLE, SC to GRACE BAPTIST CHURCH OF ORANGEBURG for $35,000.
Meanwhile, the WILMINGTON (NC) STAR NEWS is reporting that SEA-COMM MEDIA is planning a sale of four of its WILMINGTON, NC stations to an unnamed buyer for an undisclosed price. The stations on the block include the Talk "THE BIG TALKER" simulcast of WLTT/BOLIVIA, NC and WNTB/TOPSAIL BEACH, NC; Classic Rock WBNE (103.7 THE BONE)/WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC; and Triple A WUIN (98.3 THE PENGUIN)/OAK ISLAND, NC.
