On OCTOBER 29th, during the NOVEMBER 2011 report period (OCTOBER 13th - NOVEMBER 9th), a storm moved through the HARTFORD-NEW BRITAIN-MIDDLETON market causing widespread power outages. Throughout much of Weeks 3 and 4 (OCTOBER 27th - NOVEMBER 9th), a substantial portion of the Metro remained without power.
ARBITRON has carefully monitored Average Daily In-Tab and other performance metrics throughout this interval. Based on these metrics, ARBITRON will be releasing a NOVEMBER 2011 HARTFORD-NEW BRITAIN-MIDDLETON report based exclusively on NOVEMBER Weeks 1 and 2 (OCTOBER 13th - OCTOBER 26th).
Metro audience estimates for NOVEMBER Weeks 3 and 4 will not be available in any ARBITRON service.
The report based on NOVEMBER Weeks 1 and 2, ARBITRON's Currency report for NOVEMBER 2011, will release as scheduled on MONDAY, DECEMBER 5th. As with other Currency reports, this report will be available for transactional use.
